Three Companies Attend AIFF Pre-Bid Meeting for Men’s and Women’s Club Competition Commercial Rights

Three companies participated in the pre-bid meeting organized by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) for the commercial rights of its men’s and women’s club competitions ahead of the upcoming football season.

The AIFF had issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) on March 2, 2026, inviting bids for the commercial rights of its leagues, tournaments and associated football properties. The tender covers competitions under the federation’s umbrella for a proposed 15+5-year commercial rights cycle.

To participate in the bidding process, interested parties were required to pay a non-refundable fee of ₹2.5 lakh to access the tender documents and attend the pre-bid conference.

According to officials, three companies completed the process and attended the pre-bid meeting held earlier today at 4:30 PM. The companies present included FanCode, Capri Global, which is reportedly interested in the women’s football properties, and another European company.

The tender has been divided into two separate packages. Package A includes the Indian Super League (ISL) and the Federation Cup, while Package B consists of the Indian Women’s League (IWL), Indian Women’s League 2, and a potential women’s edition of the Federation Cup.

Key timelines for the RFP process

The AIFF has outlined a detailed timeline for the bidding process. The RFP was officially published online on March 2, 2026, while the pre-bid conference was held on March 11, 2026.

Interested bidders can submit written queries seeking clarifications until March 12, 2026 (4:00 PM IST). The federation will respond to all queries on March 15, 2026.

The final deadline for submission of bids is March 19, 2026, after which the technical bids will be opened on March 20, 2026. The commercial bids are scheduled to be opened later the same day.
